A First Holy Communion dress should feel special without being fussy. Our communion dresses are cut in soft white and ivory fabrics with modest necklines, covered shoulders and lengths that sit at or below the knee — comfortable enough for a warm church morning and the family lunch that follows.

Before you choose

What do girls wear for First Holy Communion?

Most parishes ask for a white or ivory dress with the shoulders covered, worn with a veil or hair band and simple white shoes. Sleeveless styles are usually fine when paired with a bolero or shrug — check with your parish office first.

How far ahead should I order?

Order four to six weeks before the ceremony. That leaves time for a fitting, any hemming, and for accessories like a veil, gloves or a cardigan to be chosen alongside the dress.

How should it be cared for?

Cool gentle wash or dry clean, dry flat away from direct sun, and store folded with acid-free tissue if you plan to keep the dress for a younger sibling.
